Standard Work Combination
Manual, machine and walk time for one operator through one cycle, laid against takt. Walk time is the line item nobody records and everybody pays for.
Time the job at the process, ten cycles, and use the lowest repeatable time — not the average and not the best ever.
Manual is hands-on time. Auto is the machine running unattended, which does not add to the operator's cycle. Walk is the steps between elements: count it, then design it out.
